The BCRA sanctioned rodeo has been held annually since 1990, drawing neighbors, family and friends from far and wide. This event is the highlight of the year bringing a great source of entertainment for the residents and tourists alike. For those who like to participate, locals enter the barrel racing, team roping and children enjoy the calf scramble.
Each day provides 4 hours of fun and entertainment as cowboys and cowgirls compete in the major events of bareback riding, barrel racing, team roping, steer wrestling and bull riding. Cheer on the children as they enter the junior events – learning the ropes as they hone their rodeo skills.
There are vendors who will provide you with authentic cowboy/cowgirl wear. Concessions will provide you with both food and drink.
Admission costs are $20.00 per adult; $15.00 for seniors and children ages 6-12, children age 5 and under are free.
